TRUE COST OF MAINTENANCE IN 4 YEARS OF MODEL S!!
AVERAGE MONTHLY ELECTRIC BILL FOR TESLA MODEL S.
INSURANCE , ELECTRICITY AND MAINTENANCE EXPENSES.
TOTAL COST OF OWNING TESLA MODEL S FOR 4 YEARS.
This is an estimate based on my experience . Total cost may vary depends on the driving habit of others . Monthly electric bill difference is about $25 if you have free supercharging option , otherwise its barely $50 a month. In comparison to other gas engine cars its about $150 difference in expense. If we were to compare Tesla to other cars on insurance, gas and maintenance for 4 years, there is a substantial difference . An average of $7050 difference saving in 4 years compare to gasoline vehicles in same price range(50K). Another important factor is maintenance expense. Maintenance expense is very low, total of $1100 in 4 years! My expense from my driving habit in 4 years just under $250!!!
Hope you find this video informative and helpful towards the purchase of your new or pre-owned TESLA . Both comes with 4years/50000 miles warranty and 8 years unlimited miles warranty on battery and drive unit. ( A major advantage over other cars)

How I bought a Tesla for $78 Per Month

I just bought the new 2019 Tesla Model 3 - here’s why it was only $78.39 per month. Enjoy! Add me on Instagram: GPStephan Tesla Referral Link: Get 1000 Miles Free Supercharging: https://ts.la/stephan88194 GET $50 OFF FOR A LIMITED TIME WITH COUPON CODE: THANKYOU50 - https://goo.gl/UFpi4c The Real Estate Agent Academy: Learn how to start and grow your career as a Real Estate Agent to a Six-Figure Income, how to best build your network of clients, expand into luxury markets, and the exact steps I’ve used to grow my business from $0 to over $125 million in sales: Join the private Real Estate Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/therealestatemillionairemastermind/ Merch: http://www.GrahamStephanStore.com/ So how does a $40,000 car come down to a price of $29,450? To start, this car is eligible for a $3750 federal tax credit until June 30th, 2019. This means if you pay more than $3750 in federal taxes, you will receive this entire amount back at the time you file your tax return. That money is as good as cash. California drivers are also eligible for a $2500 Electric Vehicle Rebate, in which the state will mail you a check for $2500 upon showing proof of purchase. Now Tesla gets a little sneaky after this…because in that $29,450 figure, Tesla also So excluding the gas savings and only focusing on the first two, cash-value rebates, the ACTUAL price of the car comes to $33,750. For a brand new Tesla. Standard Range Plus. With AutoPilot. So here’s how I bought this car for $78.39 per month: Because I financed 100% of the car, my ONLY out of pocket cost was the taxes, license, and registration - which came to $4437.01 From the remaining amount I financed, my payment comes to $640 per month, or $7680 in the first year. That means, in the first year, my total out of pocket cost is $12,117.01 between my payments, taxes, insurance, etc. However, after the rebates and tax credits, that brings my TOTAL cost of owning this car for the first year down to $5867.01. Because this car is for business use, the $1438 I pay in interest on the auto loan is a tax write off, the $4437 in taxes, licensing, and registration I paid upfront is a write off, and I can depreciate the car against my income. That’s a $14,075 tax write off…which saves me roughly about $4,926.25 in taxes. So remember…my total out of pocket cost was $5867.01 after electric vehicle tax incentives. PLUS I save $4926.25 in taxes…that means I’m effectively buying a BRAND new Tesla Model 3 for $78.39 per month out of pocket…and realistically, this works out to be a FREE car when you take into account that MOST of that $640 per month loan payment goes towards principle, and that I can invest my money in real estate at a significantly higher return than what I’m paying in interest on the Tesla. But in terms of out of pocket cost: $78.39 per month. And after going through the experience buying a Tesla like this, completely sight unseen, without ever having driven one before, I have to say…I don’t understand the concern of Tesla’s no-dealership model. Personally, I think the entire worry is overblown - and I think we’ll start to see a lot MORE car companies embracing this online-only business model. We’re naturally entering an era where everything is done online. I haven’t been to a mall or physical store in FOREVER because it’s more convenient to buy it online, and USUALLY for a more competitive price because online stores have lower overhead, and that savings is passed down to the customer. And for that, I have to give Tesla credit for being the first to really challenge the traditional business model of selling cars. Cost Calculator: http://geni.us/Model3CostCalc But whether you’re one of the nearly half a million people who have already given Tesla a $1000 deposit, or someone who is wondering if it just makes financial sense, this video is for you. At $35,000 dollars, the Model 3 is the most affordable Tesla to date. And with its 220 mile range, 126 MPGe, and 0-60 time of 5.5 seconds, it’s proving to be quite the little EV that could. Very enticing indeed. But the primary question remains: What is the TRUE Cost of Owning a Tesla Model Three? While the question is simple, the answer is not. The devil is always in the details, and so we will take a look at a couple of other popular gas powered cars for comparison, and look at Total Cost of Ownership over 5 years. We will also explain the ugly truth about MPGe, and tell you what we think is a better measurement. And if you’re counting on the $7,500 Federal Tax Credit, we’ll talk about why you may not even qualify for it. 7 Things You Shouldn't Do In an Automatic Transmission Car
1 г. назад
Do you drive a car with an automatic transmission? 🚕 The interface of automatic vehicles is often simpler, and new drivers don't have to struggle with a seemingly unruly stick shift and clutch. But there are still some ways you can mess up your transmission. Here are 7 of the most dangerous mistakes you can make when driving an automatic! 📣 TIMESTAMPS: Don't shift from "drive" to "reverse" before your car stops moving 1:06 Never put your car in "park" before it stops completely 1:55 Don't put it in "neutral" at stop lights 2:56 Don't coast in "neutral" 3:53 Never “launch” your car from a standstill 4:44 Avoid keeping the gas tank on low 5:48 Do not let water get in the transmission 6:31 #automatictransmission #drivinghacks #drivingtips Music: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music SUMMARY: - If your brakes wear down, replacing them will cost you around $200. But by constantly shifting from "drive" to "reverse" while the car’s still rolling, get ready for damage that can run you at least $2,500. - When you throw it in “park,” a pin locks the transmission output shaft, which connects it to the wheels of your car. But if the car’s still rolling when you do this, either the locking pin or the output shaft may break or become eroded. - It's better to keep your car in "drive" than to switch it to "neutral" when stopped at a light. First of all, when your car’s in "neutral," you don't have as much control over it. So if you need to make some emergency maneuver, you may not be able to execute it in time. - Cars with automatic engines are designed in such a way that they save fuel even if the gear is in "drive." They simply cut the fuel supply when you're going downhill. - Plenty of drivers launch their cars all the time. This causes serious harm to the bands and clutches of the automatic transmission. When you shift, they use friction to move definite parts. - Ignoring the low fuel light may eventually cost you much more than just filling your tank up, especially if your car has an automatic transmission. - If water gets into the transmission, you're in big trouble. Even the smallest amount of water, just an ounce, can wreak havoc on your car’s transmission to the point that it needs replaced. Detailing Dirtiest Car Ever! First Wash in 37 Years Mercedes 280 SL

This was one of my favorite details and films I've ever produced. David has been asking his 83 year old father (doctor who work in NYC and travels back and forth to NJ daily) to pull his 1969 Mercedes 280 SL out of their old garage and restore it so it can be passed down to his grandchildren. David asked if we could pull the Mercedes out of the garage (where it has been for 37 years) and detail it enough so that it inspires his father to give the green light for restoration. Watch the step by step process of removing the mold, dead animals, dust, dirt, and oxidized paint back to life. A quick look at the amazing features on the Tesla model 3. We try the auto pilot (self driving), self parking (auto parking), summon and other awesome features of this electric car. In this video we try our the car with the latest and greatest in cutting edge automotive technology, a shining beacon for the future of the automobile industry, the Tesla Model 3. The Model 3 is Telsa's most recent entry into the market with hopes of reaching the masses. Tesla’s auto pilot is all about it’s self driving capability on freeways and highways. It’s interesting that this car checks the blind spots and changes the lanes once we apply turn signals (indicators). It adjusts the acceleration of the car on its own depending on the speed of the car in front. Now coming to Tesla Model 3 interior - the panoramic glass roof, the minimalist dashboard with almost no switches, the one and only 17 inch screen with all quick controls and LTE 4G connection puts this car on a league of its own. TRUE Cost of a Tesla Model 3 (After 10,000 Miles)
1 г. назад
After 10,000 miles here's how much it has cost me to own & drive a Tesla Model 3 Ordering a Tesla Model 3? Get FREE Supercharging ➡️http://geni.us/t3sla Best Model 3 accessories on Amazon: http://geni.us/tV1EvF Full Model 3 Review: https://youtu.be/47OFb8786ko Subscribe! http://goo.gl/RqU0nl These numbers are all based off my personal experience so it's not going to be the same for everyone but at least it will give you an idea of the costs and how much a difference it is driving a #Tesla compared to an internal combustion engine vehicle. I’m going to compare my #Model3 acquisition to what it would be like if I kept driving my 2007 Pontiac G6. The total cost of my Long Range #TeslaModel3 was $56,000. I also had to pay $3,422 for taxes. I am getting the full $7,500 tax credit but my car insurance increased by $500/year so assuming I keep my Model 3 for at least 5 years that brings it to $54,422. However we also have to calculate the cost of installing a home charging outlet. This cost heavily depends on your particular location and how difficult the install is. My NEMA 14-50 outlet cost $900 for a professional electrician to install, which is on the expensive side because my box was the furthest possible distance from my garage so they had to run cable underground which increased the price. That brings it to a grand total of $55,322 upfront cost for my First Production Long Range Tesla Model 3, assuming I keep it for at least 5 years. How much does it cost to charge & drive a Model 3 compared to buying gas? My Model 3 is at 10,400 lifetime miles and it’s averaging 233 Wh/mile. So far I’ve only spent $20.29 on four Supercharging sessions, and that resulted in approximately 700 miles of range which means the other 9,700 miles traveled were from charging at home in my garage. To find out how much it’s cost to travel those 9700 miles we need to calculate my electricity rate along with the Model 3’s charging efficiency. My off-peak electricity rate when I charge my car at home is $0.06882 per kWh. However, 100% of the electricity doesn’t make it into the car’s battery when charging at home. This is true for all electric cars. Edmund’s is doing a long-term test drive of the Model 3 and they're measuring the average wall-to-wheels efficiency. So far from their tests they’ve seen an 83.3% charging efficiency (meaning only about 83% of the electricity makes it from the charging cable into the car battery). And if we also account for the amount of battery that depletes as the Model 3 is just sitting somewhere not plugged in (I’ll make a guesstimate and say 3% is a fair assumption for vampire drain), that brings us to 80% total charging efficiency. So 9,700 miles at an average of 233 Wh/mile with an electricity rate of $0.06882 per kWh with an 80% charging efficiency equals $186.65. And if we add the $20.29 I’ve spent on Supercharging that comes to a grand total of $206.94 spent to travel 10,400 miles in my Model 3. If you compare that to my 6-cylinder automatic transmission 2007 Pontiac G6 which averages 21 miles per gallon and using the current average cost of gas in my area which is $2.77 per gallon, the total cost to travel 10,400 miles would be $1,371.81. That means I’ve saved almost $1,200 over 10,400 miles or maybe it’s better to say that’s $1,200 I’ve stopped having to give to gas stations since getting my Model 3. And I’m not driving a car that puts out any emissions which feels great. Also keep in mind there are free apps like PlugShare and ChargePoint that show you locations of thousands of public charging stations, most of which are completely free for anyone to charge their electric car which is something that just doesn’t exist with gas stations. Also I’ve saved so much time from not having to stop at gas stations during my normal weekly driving. It takes me 5 seconds to plug in my Model 3 in my garage. When I drove a gas car I had to get gas at least once or twice per week, and each stop took around 5 minutes. So over the course of a year that’s a huge amount of time saved from not having to stop at gas stations. We could also get into the money saved from oil changes and maintenance but that's another story. So far I’ve paid absolutely $0 in maintenance for my Model 3 so hopefully that continues. It’s been a fantastic car after 10,000 miles and it’s still just as much fun as the day I got it. I hope you enjoyed this detailed look into how much owning and driving a Tesla Model 3 actually costs. Tesla Model 3 Review after 1 year & 26,000 miles! Still the best car or was it a mistake? Get your first audiobook for free when you try Audible for 30 days at http://Audible.com/andyslye or text andyslye to 500500 Get FREE Supercharging when you order a #Tesla #Model3 http://geni.us/t3sla Almost a year ago I took delivery of my Tesla Model 3 and since then I've driven it over 26,000 miles. Is it still the best car I've ever driven or was it a $50,000 mistake? Let's find out. In my original Tesla Model 3 review I mainly went over the features of the car but in this video I'm going to go over my experience of owning a #TeslaModel3 and focus on the 3 most important factors: Reliability: When I first got my Model 3 I was skeptical on how reliable it would be since it was a first generation of its kind, and there were a few horror stories online from early adopters who were experiencing software & hardware issues. I can honestly say my Model 3 has been 100% reliable for me so far, and yes even though that should be expected for a brand new car, it’s still a nice surprise how reliable it has been since Tesla is still relatively so young & since Model 3 is a very unique car. Range anxiety does exist, but the Model 3’s energy graph is extremely accurate in predicting the estimated range left when driving so as long as you pay attention to that and plan ahead you’ll be fine and shouldn’t ever have to worry about running out of battery. For how heavily it’s integrated with software I’m actually surprised my Model 3 has worked this well, and I’ve been extremely satisfied with it over my first 26,000 miles. Cost: Out of all those things during the first 25,000 miles in a Model 3 you only need to do tire rotations and I know this isn’t the norm but luckily for me there’s a local tire shop that gives free tire rotations to Tesla owners, just one of the many perks of going all-electric I guess. The only thing that has cost me money to drive my Model 3 this far is electricity from either at home or a Tesla Supercharger. My city is one of the best locations to put the Model 3 range efficiency to the test and with an average of 248 Wh/mile through all the seasons means the LR Model 3 is one of, if not the most efficient electric car out right now. It took 6,457 kWh to drive just over 26,000 miles, and since the Model 3 gets about 80% efficiency it actually took about 8,071 kWh and at my current electricity rate of 6.8 cents per kWh that comes to $549 that I’ve spent on electricity to drive my Model 3 over 26,000 miles. I’ve also charged for free at hotels, parking garages, and family members houses so my total cost to drive over 26,000 miles in my Model 3 is less than $600. My monthly electricity costs have only increased by an average of $36. To put it in perspective, a car that gets 30 mpg at $2.75/gallon would cost $2,383 to drive 26,000 miles and if you add a $50 oil change every 4,000 miles that would be an additional $325. This shows how much a person can save in fuel & oil by going all-electric, especially a Model 3. Enjoyment: It’s no surprise that the Tesla Model 3 is a joy to drive but I’ll quickly go over a few things that I don’t like because nothing is perfect. The windshield and windows fog up more than any other car I’ve ever driven. Fortunately I got some fog reducer that helps. I wish the frunk had a better closing mechanism or was able to close automatically because I hate leaving hand prints on the hood from closing it. I also wish the driver profiles would save the lumbar setting. Luckily that can be fixed with a software update which is one of my favorite things about the Model 3. Now moving along to the other things that I enjoy most about my Model 3: How a car can be this simple & minimalist yet pack so much power and torque is something I’ll always be impressed with. Yes there are times when it phantom brakes but if you're using it as it's designed you will always have a hand on the wheel ready to take over and I love knowing each time I use it it's getting better through the neural network. It charges overnight while I sleep, it stops charging when it reaches whatever limit I have set, and I wake up to an 80% charge every day or 100% charge if I'm about to take a road trip - no more stopping at gas stations. I can tell it to drive somewhere and it gives me real-time step-by-step directions on the beautiful responsive 15” touch screen which is the best screen in any vehicle out right now in my opinion. Now after a free software update and even after any battery degradation from driving 26,000 miles, my Model 3 now gets 320 rated miles on a full charge.
